BTL Initiates Patent Lawsuit Against WonderFace Device
BTL Group, a leader in medical solutions, has filed an international patent infringement lawsuit against Lexter Microelectronic Engineering Systems S.L., maker of the WonderFace device. The suit is before the Unified Patent Court, alleging infringement on BTL's EMFACE® technology patents.
EMFACE® is known for innovating facial lifting procedures by integrating muscle stimulation with radiofrequency heating, using hands-free applicators. Tomas Schwarz, CEO of BTL, expressed the company's commitment to protect its intellectual property and client investments.
The legal action seeks to halt the distribution of WonderFace systems in multiple countries. A verdict will directly affect 18 jurisdictions, highlighting the lawsuit's broad implications.
