Boron One Holdings Inc. Advances Exploration in Jarandol Basin
Boron One Holdings Inc. has initiated the 2026 exploration program in the Jarandol Basin, Serbia, through its subsidiary, Balkan Gold d.o.o. The exploration covers a 21 km2 area adjacent to the company's Piskanja borate deposit. The program includes geological mapping, soil sampling, trench work, drilling, and collection of core and petro samples. This initiative aims to assess high-value drill targets identified in previous explorations for boron content.
Previous efforts in the basin have indicated potential extensions of the Piskanja and Pobrdje boron deposits. Notably, prior drill campaigns resulted in intersections exceeding economic criteria for borate grades and thickness. The Jarandol Basin, known for its mining history and infrastructure, presents opportunities for discovering new boron deposits.
