BlackRock reduces its stake in Veolia Environnement
On September 17, 2024, Veolia Environnement announced that New York-based BlackRock, Inc. had crossed downwards the thresholds of 5% of Veolia Environnement's capital and voting rights.
BlackRock now holds 36,492,475 Veolia shares, or 4.93% of the capital and voting rights, following a sale of shares on the market and a reduction in shares held as collateral.
This threshold crossing transaction is declared in accordance with Article L. 233-7 of the French Commercial Code. The transaction was carried out on September 16, 2024, acting on behalf of clients and funds that it manages.
BlackRock retains discretionary power over the voting rights attached to the securities held, unless requested by clients wishing to retain this control.
