BlackRock crosses thresholds at Veolia Environnement
On August 30, 2024, Veolia Environnement announced that BlackRock, Inc. has crossed upwards the thresholds of 5% of the company's capital and voting rights. This announcement comes following the acquisition of shares on the market and an increase in shares held as collateral.
BlackRock now holds 36,683,051 Veolia Environnement shares, representing 5.05% of the capital and voting rights. This crossing is the result of various transactions, including direct purchases and the use of "contracts for differences".
BlackRock's investment manager has discretion to exercise voting rights on securities held, unless otherwise directed by clients.
