Bitcoin Group SE Holds Successful Annual General Meeting 2024
Herford, 2 September 2024 - Bitcoin Group SE successfully held its Annual General Meeting 2024. Shareholders approved all proposed resolutions with large majorities. The meeting, attended by 36.29% of the share capital, witnessed the approval of a EUR 0.10 per share dividend.
The Management Board reflected on a challenging financial year with low trading activity due to high inflation, rising interest rates, and geopolitical tensions. Despite these, equity rose by 88% to EUR 137.9 million, and net crypto assets increased by 133% to EUR 164.8 million by year-end 2023.
CEO Marco Bodewein highlighted regulatory decisions and the approval of crypto spot ETFs by the SEC as positive factors elevating the acceptance of cryptocurrencies. The voting results are accessible on Bitcoin Group SE's website.
