BHG Financial’s CHRO Katie Barnes Honored with 2024 '40 Under 40' Award

BHG Financial announced that Katie Barnes, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), has been named to the South Florida Business Journal's 2024 '40 under 40' list. This accolade recognizes 40 individuals under 40 who have made significant impacts in their fields, communities, and companies.

"I am proud to be recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as part of this year's 40 Under 40 winners list," said Barnes. "It's fulfilling to see our progress in developing internal offerings to meet our employees' evolving needs."

Since 2021, Barnes has overseen BHG's People Development department, significantly contributing to the company's accelerated growth and dynamic workforce. She is the third executive and the first woman at BHG to receive this award.

Katie Barnes has played a key role in increasing representation of women and people of color in leadership roles. Under her guidance, more women and people of color have progressed to managerial and senior leadership positions at BHG.
