Baader Bank Extends OTC Trading Hours to Enhance Market Access

Baader Bank has announced an extension of its over-the-counter (OTC) trading hours for equities, funds, ETPs, and bonds. The trading hours, previously from 08:00 to 22:00, have now been expanded to start at 07:30 and run until 23:00. This change, effective from October 18, 2024, aims to better meet the growing demand for securities trading services from both institutional and private clients.

According to Oliver Riedel, Deputy CEO of Baader Bank AG, the move represents an important milestone in optimizing their trading offerings. He highlighted the benefits of improved access for cooperation partners and private investors. The extended hours will initially be available to Smartbroker+ and will gradually include other online brokers and banks.

This expansion underlines Baader Bank's commitment to maintaining high standards in market making and trading services, reinforcing its position in Germany.
