AXP Energy Launches First Gas-To-Power Data Centre Connection

AXP Energy Limited has announced its first connection of modular data centres (MDCs) for Bitcoin mining at the Pathfinder #2 well site in Colorado. Operated under a Joint Development Agreement with Blackhart Technologies, the MDCs will host 589 Bitmain S19J Pro Antminers. This marks a significant move towards utilizing stranded gas for power generation.

The initial deployment is focused on ensuring performance reliability, a key factor for the expansion plans that include two more sites at JW Powell and Kelce Court. CEO Tim Hart emphasized the importance of a consistent and reliable gas supply to support further seamless expansion.

With extensive untapped gas reserves, AXP is keen on monetizing the operation, keeping shareholders updated on progress. The company's ultimate goal is expanding beyond the first three sites based on the success of the current operations.
