Avila Energy Announces Auditor Change and Appointment of New CFO

Avila Energy Corporation disclosed significant organizational changes early this March. The company appointed KMSS as its new independent auditor until the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, replacing WDM. This decision, effective March 5, 2024, aligns with Avila's focus on strengthening its financial reporting and audit processes. Both KMSS and WDM have agreed to this transition in letters to the company, following protocols set by National Instrument 51-102.

Concurrently, Avila has announced the appointment of Donica Igot-Candia as its new Chief Financial Officer. With over a decade of experience in finance and leadership, including roles in corporate finance, financial reporting, and strategic planning, Igot-Candia is poised to contribute significantly to Avila’s growth. Her background includes notable positions in both Calgary, Alberta, and the Philippines, underscoring her diverse and international expertise in the financial sector.
