AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS AG Embarks on Landmark Public Health System Digitization in Greece

AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS AG, through its subsidiary INFORM LYKOS SA, has initiated a key project for digitizing the archives of Greece's Public Health System. This venture, supported by Recovery Fund financing, aims to transition the healthcare system into the digital era, prioritizing efficient patient care by converting over 197 million pages and images of medical records into digital format.

The project's focus is to enhance healthcare quality by providing quick and secure access to patient data for authorized personnel, thus expediting medical services and reducing duplicated testing and associated costs. This digital shift will also modernize the health system's operations and management.

According to Manolis Kontos, CEO of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS AG, and Dimitris Kontinos, Director of Digital Technologies at INFORM LYKOS, the initiative represents a significant advancement towards a modernized, patient-focused healthcare system in Greece.
