Aurubis AG Completes Executive Restructuring with Key Appointments
Aurubis AG has announced the appointment of Dr. Toralf Haag as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Tim Kurth as Chief Operations Officer (COO) for custom smelting, effective September 1, 2024. This move marks the completion of the executive board restructuring announced in January 2024.
Dr. Toralf Haag, with extensive industry experience, will succeed Roland Harings as CEO. Tim Kurth, currently Managing Director of Aurubis Bulgaria, will oversee custom smelting operations. The executive board will include Inge Hofkens and Prof. Markus Kramer, who will transition out on September 30, 2024. Steffen Alexander Hoffmann will take over as CFO starting October 1, 2024.
