Audacia SAS achieves a first closing of 70 million euros for Quantonation II

Audacia SAS, a French private equity company, announced that it had completed the first closing of Quantonation II at 70 million euros. This fund, which constitutes the second seed investment vehicle dedicated to quantum technologies managed by Quantonation Ventures, intends to be part of Audacia's ambition to increase its assets under management to 1 billion euros by end of 2025.

Quantonation II, aiming to raise 200 million euros, is a continuation of Quantonation I, which had raised 91 million euros. This initiative confirms the growing interest in quantum technologies, a field where advances promise a major industrial revolution. The fund targets startups in several areas of quantum physics such as computing, sensors and communication.

Four initial investments have already been made by Quantonation II, covering various applications of quantum technologies, from quantum computing to quantum materials. Thanks to a range of investors, including the National Seed Fund 2 managed by Bpifrance and international supporters, the fund demonstrates its global ambition. Quantonation is also banking on “venture studios” to stimulate innovation in the quantum sector on a global scale.

The management of Audacia, headed by Charles Beigbeder, expresses its satisfaction with this first successful closing and highlights the vision of Quantonation Ventures, wishing to strengthen its status as a leader in the quantum technologies market.
