Auction.io, a prominent B2B SaaS provider, has officially acquired SimpleAuctionSite.com (SAS), as part of its strategy to enhance its auction and e-commerce solutions. SAS, established in 2005 and based in Durham, NC, is recognized for its services in several high-value sectors including sports collectibles and fine wines. This acquisition integrates SAS’s technology and its extensive client base into Auction.io, marking a significant extension of Auction.io's capabilities targeting new markets and service enhancements.

Rajesh Rajaram, CEO of Auction.io, emphasized the growth potential by stating that the acquisition would bring more than 85 new customers and robust technological capabilities to their operations. Newly appointed president, Robert Freedman, founder of SAS, expressed optimism about bringing innovative auction solutions under the expanded resources of Auction.io. The transaction received financial advisory from Evertrove Capital, specializing in services for collectible and passion sectors.
