Atos Receives Revised Global Financial Restructuring Proposal
On June 26, 2024, Atos SE announced it received a revised global financial restructuring proposal from the representative committee of its bondholders (SteerCo). This proposal follows the withdrawal of Onepoint, Butler Industries, and Econocom from discussions a day earlier.
Ongoing negotiations, overseen by conciliator Hélène Bourbouloux, aim to finalize a restructuring plan addressing the company's liquidity needs. Atos anticipates reaching an in-principle agreement with financial creditors by late June 2024, with a definitive agreement expected in July.
Atos confirmed its business activities align with the plan presented in April and announced the finalization of an agreement with the French State to protect sovereign interests. Additionally, EPEI expressed interest in participating in the financial restructuring.
