Athena Bitcoin Global Appoints New CFO Omar Jimenez

Athena Bitcoin Global has appointed Omar Jimenez as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Jimenez brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience, notably in blockchain technology and financial services. He previously held roles at 180 Life Sciences Corp. and Golden Matrix Group. Matias Goldenhorn, CEO, believes Jimenez's expertise will aid Athena's global expansion and shareholder value. This follows Eyal Segal's interim CFO role, who will assist in Jimenez's transition.

Jimenez's previous positions include chairmanship at the Audit Committee of 180 Life Sciences Corp. and executive roles at Monaker Group, MARMEL International, and American Leisure Holdings. His career is characterized by growth and operational efficiency across varied sectors. Jimenez holds certifications in CPA, CGMA, and CPCU, with academic qualifications from the University of Miami and Florida International University.
