Aston Bay and American West Metals Uncover New Copper Deposits in Canada

Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. and American West Metals have confirmed new copper intercepts at the Cyclone and Lightning Ridge sites within the Storm Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada. The 2024 summer drilling program has accelerated, with over 4,450 meters completed so far.

The drilling aims to expand the Cyclone and Chinook Prospects and delineate the Lightning Ridge and Thunder Prospects. Visual results from 16 drill holes at Lightning Ridge and Cyclone have shown a 100% success rate in hitting copper sulfides.

At Lightning Ridge, drill hole SR24-014 intersected 30.5 meters of visual copper sulfide mineralization, while SR24-016 hit 21.3 meters. Copper mineralization has been defined over a 150-meter strike.

At Cyclone, 13 drill holes have revealed strong visual copper sulfides, with SR24-009 intersecting 32 meters of sulfides. The drilling confirms robust copper mineralization and suggests significant growth potential.
