Ascendant Resources, Inc. Strengthens Technical Team with Appointment of Guy Lauzier for Lagoa Salgada Project

Ascendant Resources Inc., a Toronto-based mining company, has announced the appointment of Guy Lauzier as Technical Adviser for its Lagoa Salgada project in Portugal. Lauzier, a seasoned mining engineer with over 45 years of experience, has an extensive background in mine planning, design, construction, and project management on the Iberian Pyrite Belt.

Lauzier's previous roles include project management positions at MATSA - Trafigura, and Lundin Mining's Aljustrel Project, where he led significant upgrades and developments in mining operations. His expertise also covers the technical advisory at Eurozinc Neves Corvo's Mine where he managed mine planning and construction projects.

Mark Brennan, Chairman of Ascendant, expressed enthusiasm for Lauzier's appointment, highlighting his wealth of experience in VMS projects and his expected contribution to advancing the Lagoa Salgada project to its final feasibility stage and development.
