Ascendant Resources Announces Results of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
Ascendant Resources Inc. (TSX:ASND)(OTCQB:ASND) disclosed the results of its 2024 Annual General Shareholders' Meeting held on June 13, 2024, in Toronto. A total of 51,497,589 common shares were voted, representing 27.59% of all outstanding shares. All presented matters were duly approved.
The number of directors was set at six with 99.46% voting in favor. The following directors were elected: Mark Brennan, Robert Campbell, Christopher Jones, Kurt Menchen, Rui Botica Santos, and Robert Sellars, each receiving over 99% of votes in favor.
KPMG LLP was appointed as the auditor with 99.57% approval. Notably, co-founder Stephen Shefsky did not seek re-election. The company expressed gratitude for his contributions.
