Xie Lei Wins 2025 Marcel Duchamp Prize Amidst Celebrations in Paris

On October 23, the 25th Marcel Duchamp Prize was awarded to Xie Lei at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris. This accolade, orchestrated by ADIAF with support from Artprice by Artmarket, marks a significant event in the art world. The prize, conceived 25 years ago by Gilles Fuchs, aims to bolster the global presence of French artists.

Xie Lei, celebrated for his introspective style and evocative canvases, was chosen from a distinguished group of finalists: Bianca Bondi, Eva Nielsen, and Lionel Sabatté. Their works reflect the dynamic and diverse nature of the current French art scene, which is increasingly recognized globally.
