Applications are now being accepted for the ApolloMD 2024 Emergency Medicine Scholarship for Residents, now in its seventh year. This scholarship initiative reflects ApolloMD's dedication to supporting medical residents passionate about pursuing a career in emergency medicine, aiming to cover various expenses related to their medical education. ApolloMD, which partners with over 100 hospitals nationwide, emphasizes its commitment to healthcare education and patient-centered care.

Yogin Patel, MD, MBA, FACEP, the CEO of ApolloMD, highlighted the organization's commitment to supporting those with a passion for emergency medicine. The application process for the scholarship opens on March 15, coinciding with 2024's Match Day. The scholarship aims to support resident physicians through the financial challenges of their education.

Qualifying applicants must be in good standing at a US allopathic or osteopathic medical school and actively training in an emergency medicine residency program. Criteria for evaluation include application and essay, scholarship achievements, philanthropic endeavors, leadership skills, and involvement in accredited medical societies or organizations. Applications must be submitted online by June 15, with the recipient announced in August.
