ANT Systems begins industrial production of drought relief solutions
The Dutch company ANT Systems Holding BV has launched industrial production of NANOTERN™, an innovative biodegradable material, in Istanbul. NANOTERN™ is designed to optimize water management in drought-stricken regions. Already used on five continents, it can absorb up to 1,800 times its weight in water.
This technology could reduce agricultural irrigation needs by 50% and increase yields by 25%. With a potential global market estimated at $30 billion within ten years, ANT Systems aims to become a leader in the advanced agricultural technology sector. The company holds patents on several nano-biotechnology technologies.
