Anew Climate Expands Presence in North American Low Carbon Fuels Market

Anew Climate, LLC, along with BrightSide Solutions, Inc., announced the rebranding of BrightSide Solutions to Anew Canada Low Carbon Fuels, Inc. This change follows Anew's mid-2022 acquisition of BrightSide, significantly extending Anew's influence in the low carbon fuels sector within North America.

Since the takeover, Anew Canada LCF has seen substantial growth in its market position, notably enhancing its services enabling adherence to Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations This includes the expansion of its renewable natural gas (RNG) projects, and an increase in credit generation through various green initiatives such as electric vehicle charging and clean hydrogen usage. Angela Schwarz, CEO of Anew Climate, emphasized the company's enhanced North American market coverage and expertise, aiming to offer better value and risk minimization to its customers.

Anew Canada LCF has reported the generation of over 40,000 Clean Fuel Regulation (CFR) credits from 2022 to 2023. It has also facilitated a significant RNG transaction with GrowTEC, and established credit and compliance management agreements with six RNG producers in Canada. Moreover, Anew's initiatives have led to the establishment of multiple RNG projects, reducing transportation-related emissions and furthering energy transition across borders.

In addition to RNG advancements, the company has successfully expanded its electric vehicle charging station operations across Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia, diversified its low carbon hydrogen services, and engaged with biofuel producers for new credit opportunities.
