Amprion Reports Strong 2025 Financial Results with Record Investments

Amprion GmbH has released its 2025 financial results, highlighting marked improvements in all key financial indicators. Investments totaling €5.4 billion were achieved, supporting Germany’s energy transition. By 2030, Amprion plans to invest €42 billion in grid expansion, showcasing a strong commitment to this transformation. The company's management team has been expanded, and the workforce has grown strategically.

The positive financial results were driven by increased investment activity, with IFRS revenue rising 9% to €6.1 billion. Adjusted EBITDA rose 25% to approximately €1.2 billion. A favorable tax reassessment contributed to a 72% rise in net income, reaching €672 million.

In December 2025, Amprion boosted its equity by €2.2 billion and issued bonds worth €2.5 billion to fund grid expansion. These financial activities reflect shareholders' trust and sustained support. The company emphasizes the need for a competitive regulatory framework to keep attracting international investors.

Significant progress in grid expansion includes completing several major projects like the Ultranet and A-Nord direct current projects. Amprion constructed 320 kilometers of transmission lines in 2025, a 50% increase from the previous year.

The company stresses the importance of harmonizing generation, consumption, and grid expansion to ensure system stability. Amprion continues to expand its workforce, with a notable increase of 14% in employees.
