PLDT and Amdocs Achieve Cloud Modernization Milestone
PLDT and its subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. have reached a key milestone in their cloud modernization project with Amdocs, migrating crucial systems to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This advancement equips PLDT with an AI-driven infrastructure designed to enhance agility and performance for improved customer experiences in the Philippines.
The project, led by Amdocs, has introduced an advanced cloud operations platform on AWS that optimizes resource use and innovation. Following this accomplishment, a new agreement has been signed to further upgrade and migrate PLDT's data platforms to AWS, bolstering production stability and support.
The platform enhances PLDT’s agility, enabling better connected experiences and fostering continuous innovation. As the project progresses, PLDT aims to leverage AI capabilities to future-proof its operations.
