Amarc Resources and Freeport Plan Extensive 2025 Drill Program
Amarc Resources Ltd. has announced plans for a major 2025 drilling program in collaboration with Freeport-McMoRan Mineral Properties Canada Inc. The focus will be on the high-grade AuRORA Deposit, the PINE Deposit, and the Twins and Canyon Discoveries in British Columbia’s JOY District. The comprehensive exploration signals a strong potential for a significant Cu-Au district development.
Freeport's funding for the JOY District includes a CAD $10 million program, with an option to invest an additional CAD $75 million under Stage 2 of their Agreement. Amarc will continue managing the exploration efforts. The AuRORA Deposit, noted for its high-grade mineralization, remains open for expansion.
