ALTEN: 2024 First-Half Results
ALTEN has reported its financial outcomes for the first half of 2024, showing moderate organic growth of 0.9%. Overall revenue increased by 2.9%, reaching €2,108 million, with France leading the growth at 5.7% and international markets at 1.6%.
Operating profit on activity decreased by 5.8%, totaling €177.2 million, which represents 8.4% of revenue. This decline is attributed to fewer working days and a lower activity rate. However, France saw an improvement, while international margins fell due to less profitable company integrations and economic difficulties in Germany and the UK.
Net profit increased by 6.4%, reaching €118.2 million, making up 5.6% of revenue. Free cash flow rose significantly to €98 million, compared with a negative flow last year. ALTEN also announced two overseas acquisitions and is negotiating the acquisition of Worldgrid, which is expected to close by year-end.
