Altarea Advances in Data Centers at Choose France Summit
On November 17, 2025, Altarea announced significant strides in its data center operations during the first Choose France Summit in Paris. The event highlighted the company's sustained commitment to the French national territory and its economic development. Altarea has focused on two primary data center segments: colocation and hyperscale.
In the colocation sector, Altarea inaugurated its Noyal-sur-Vilaine facility and secured approval for a second center in Vélizy, Yvelines, targeting over 100 MW IT potential in Île-de-France. For hyperscale projects, Altarea plans significant investments, having secured 520 MW capacity for new developments.
Company Chairman Alain Taravella emphasized data centers' role in France's digital competitiveness, while government officials applauded Altarea's efforts in strengthening the national digital infrastructure.
