Altarea Acquires Prejeance Industrial and Enhances Photovoltaic Development in France
Altarea has finalized the acquisition of Prejeance Industrial (PI) from the Spanish group Repsol. This operation strengthens Altarea’s photovoltaic installation platform in France, launched in 2023 as part of its strategic roadmap.
Established in 2019, PI focuses on developing small to medium-sized rooftop photovoltaic projects, primarily on agricultural sheds. PI’s team of 18 employees manages the entire project lifecycle, offering renewable energy solutions and additional income to farmers. By June 2024, PI had an installed capacity of over 42 MWp, with a project pipeline of nearly 400 MWp.
The investment totals approximately €140 million, including €25 million in goodwill and €115 million for operational and developmental solar plants. PI will be consolidated into Altarea’s accounts from the second half of 2024.
