Alta Global Group Launches Hype Marketing Platform for Combat Sports Community

Alta Global Group announces the launch of Hype, a subscription-based mobile marketing platform aimed at 45,000 combat sports gyms, coaches, and athlete influencers in the US. Hype offers plans ranging from $39 to $299 per month and collects up to 5% transaction fees. Initial rollout targets California and Texas, with nationwide expansion planned for 2024-2025.

Hype enables users to create websites, engage followers through text and email marketing, and manage payments—all from their phones. The platform aims to enhance engagement by converting social media followers into dedicated gym members, reducing dependency on social media algorithms.

Nick Langton, CEO of Alta, highlighted the potential to generate $3,500 annually per gym. Rich Chou, VP for North America, emphasized that Hype will simplify gym operations and support business growth. The platform currently generates $200,000 per annum in recurring revenue, expected to rise with broader adoption.

The rollout includes promoting Hype through Alta ambassadors like Daniel Cormier and Jessica-Rose Clark. This strategy aims to leverage their follower base to drive platform awareness and adoption. Competitive features against platforms like WordPress and Squarespace include website creation, email, and text marketing, and flexible payment options.
