Shelly Group SE Expands into Benelux Market with New Regional Manager

Shelly Group SE, a provider of IoT and smart building solutions, is set to expand its operations into the Benelux region. This move aims to tap into the burgeoning smart home market, which is poised for a 9% to 11% annual growth through 2027, and capitalize on favorable macroeconomic trends such as a forecasted 2% GDP growth for 2025.

The company has appointed Twan Huisman, a seasoned expert in international sales, as the Regional Manager. Based in the Netherlands, Huisman will lead a team focused on enlarging the network of Shelly-certified installers and enhancing the Pro segment's presence in the region. His past experience with Athom B.V. underlines his capability in steering sales and expanding installer networks.

Huisman expressed enthusiasm about advancing the integration of energy-efficient technologies in the Benelux region, recognizing its potential in building digitization. Shelly aims to significantly impact the market by offering innovative products and direct support to professional partners.
