Allied Universal Employee Honored with "Patriot Employer" Award by the Department of Defense

Allied Universal announced that Frances Ruban, an employee at its New York City office, has received the “Patriot Employer” award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense - Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). This award is a recognition of her efforts in supporting a fellow employee serving in the National Guard.

Frances Ruban expressed her pride in working for a company that values the sacrifices of military personnel. Her colleague, Chris Schemer, a National Guard member, nominated her due to the exceptional support she provided during his deployment preparations. Gene Westmoreland from the Department of Defense praised Ruban's commitment to ensuring that family support systems were in place for service members like Schemer prior to their deployment.
