Alibaba Cloud Recognized as Leader in Public Cloud Platforms

Alibaba Cloud, a key component of Alibaba Group, has been acknowledged as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Public Cloud Platforms Q4 2024 report. The report ranks Alibaba Cloud second among nine global vendors, assessing aspects such as current offerings and strategic implementation.

The Forrester report highlights Alibaba Cloud's strength in AI innovation, with a diverse array of AI models and cloud-native infrastructure. The company achieved top scores in seventeen criteria, including database services, serverless functionalities, and AI development services.

Jingren Zhou, CTO of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, emphasized the company's commitment to enhancing cloud and AI solutions to meet increasing industry demands. At the Apsara Conference 2024, Alibaba Cloud introduced new AI computing solutions, including the Qwen large language models, which have gained significant traction.

Alibaba Cloud is also expanding its global presence with 85 data centers in 28 regions, aiming to launch new ones in Mexico and Asia in the coming years.
