AGRANA's Food & Beverage Solutions Boosts 2025 Forecast

AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft has announced a positive revision of its full-year forecast, projecting Group EBIT to reach between €45 to 60 million for the 2025/26 financial year. This comes despite a challenging environment in the starch and sugar markets, which significantly reduced earnings in the first half of the year by 50.5% to €28 million.

The company's revenue also declined by 9.1%, landing at €1,691.6 million. However, a strong performance in the Food & Beverage Solutions segment, which saw its EBIT climb to €68 million, was a pivotal factor in the updated outlook. In contrast, the Agricultural Commodities & Specialities segments, particularly sugar, experienced substantial declines due to pricing pressures and restructuring costs.

CEO Stephan Büttner highlighted the transformative phase the company is undergoing with its NEXT LEVEL strategy, underlining the importance of the Food & Beverage Solutions' performance in stabilizing the Group's EBIT projections.
