AGRANA to Acquire Remaining Shares of AUSTRIA JUICE from RWA

AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG has announced its decision to acquire all shares held by RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG in AUSTRIA JUICE GmbH. This acquisition will transition AUSTRIA JUICE into a fully owned subsidiary of AGRANA. Currently, AGRANA holds 50.01% of the shares, with RWA owning 49.99%. The transaction awaits approval from anti-trust and regulatory authorities and involves a purchase price of €54.7 million.

AUSTRIA JUICE, a leading producer of apple and berry juice concentrates, operates 13 production sites across Europe and China, generating annual revenues of approximately €330 million. AGRANA aims to integrate AUSTRIA JUICE's offerings within its strategic Food & Beverage Solutions division to expand its market reach.

The sale aligns with RWA's strategy to concentrate on core business areas, ensuring sustainable growth, according to Johannes Schuster, CEO of RWA.
