AGRANA Group Reports Impairment Impact on 2025/26 EBIT

AGRANA Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft has announced an expected impairment loss in its ACS – Sugar segment, influencing the EBIT for the 2025/26 financial year. The impairment, anticipated to range between € 45 and € 55 million, arises from the challenging market conditions in the sugar sector. Although this loss affects EBIT negatively, it does not impact the operating profit, which is projected to rise to € 80-85 million, compared to € 76.5 million in 2024/25.

Management had earlier forecast a significant EBIT increase to between € 45 million and € 60 million before the impairment was considered. Despite the downturn, AGRANA anticipates operating profit growth, affected by the broader economic landscape. Final figures will be confirmed following the preparation of the annual financial statements, with results scheduled for publication on May 12, 2026.
