AELF Leases 737-800 to FlySafair
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance, Inc. (AELF) has announced the leasing of a Boeing 737-800 to FlySafair, a South African low-cost carrier. The aircraft, MSN 36548, will join FlySafair's predominantly 737-800 fleet.
Jim Nazarkewich, Head of Technical Services for AELF, expressed satisfaction in seeing the aircraft in operation. Recently acquired from Airborne Capital Limited, this 737-800 is part of AELF's fleet expansion strategy.
Joe Cirillo, Head of Global Marketing, highlighted the strategic alignment with AELF's objectives in the 737-NG market. FlySafair's Chief Marketing Officer, Kirby Gordon, emphasized the importance of structured leasing deals for maintaining a cost advantage.
