Advanced Medical Balloons (AMB) has appointed Stephen K.E. Forden as USA General Manager to strengthen market presence and build strategic partnerships in the US. Forden brings over 30 years of industry experience from companies like Zimmer and Convatec.

AMB’s lead product, hygh-tec®, quickly gained 30% market share in Germany against Flexi-Seal™ and received FDA approval in 2023. hygh-tec™ targets a $200-300 million global market opportunity, especially in intensive care units and burn units for managing fecal output.

AMB's CEO Frank Gehres highlights Stephen's track record in achieving revenue growth and expanding commercial footprints as vital for the company's US expansion. Forden's role will focus on commercializing AMB's novel catheter technologies, including innovative fecal and urinary management systems and improved endotracheal tubes.
