Advanced Blockchain AG CEO Appointed as Special Advisor for Japanese Pilot Project

Simon Telian, CEO of Advanced Blockchain AG, has been appointed as Special Advisor for a pilot project by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Advanced Blockchain AG, a leading incubator and investor in the blockchain industry, announced the appointment on 20 June 2024.

The project, named 'Pilot Project for Building Digital Public Goods Using Web 3.0 & Blockchain', is conducted in collaboration with Nomura Research Institute and JISSUI Social Implementation Centre. It aims to promote pilot projects in digital public goods, develop guidelines, data standards, and platforms for data exchange. The initiative seeks to expedite the implementation of Web 3.0 and blockchain in Japanese society.

Telian will collaborate with experts, including directors from Blockchain Capital and the Global Blockchain Business Council. He expressed optimism about Japan’s evolving regulatory environment and increasing foreign investment, which are fostering a thriving ecosystem for Web 3.0 and blockchain companies.

The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has been focusing on pilot projects and the development of skilled labor in the Web 3.0 and blockchain fields to address industrial and social challenges in Japan, aligning with their vision of Society 5.0.
