Adesso SE announces preliminary results for 2023 with a 26% increase in sales

The Adesso SE group achieved a significant growth in 2023, with a 26% increase in sales, reaching 1.136 billion euros. The EBITDA was 80 million euros, in the middle of the adjusted forecast range during the year. Despite various challenges, including suboptimal capacity utilization in the first half and lower-than-anticipated license sales, the company showed a strong improvement in profitability, especially in the second half of 2023.

The last quarter saw sales and EBITDA increase by 23% compared to the previous year, reaching new record levels. This improvement resulted in an EBITDA margin of 8.8%. Adesso SE plans to increase the dividend to 0.70 euros per share for the 2023 financial year, reflecting a stable dividend policy despite a decrease in consolidated net profit and net cash position attributed to specific situations in 2023.

Optimistic about growth prospects in the IT sector and ongoing demand for digitalization, Adesso expects double-digit sales growth for 2024, with forecasted sales exceeding 1.25 billion euros and an EBITDA between 110 and 130 million euros. These preliminary results will be followed by the publication of audited consolidated financial statements on March 25, 2024.
