Adesso SE Announces Executive Board Change: Schroeder to Step Down, Knopp to Take Over as CFO
adesso SE has confirmed that Jörg Schroeder will leave the Executive Board by April 2025. Schroeder has been instrumental in the company’s growth from 4,000 to over 10,200 employees, significantly impacting the Finance division and operational areas. The Supervisory Board expressed its gratitude for his contributions and wished him well for the future.
Michael Knopp, aged 58, will succeed Schroeder as Chief Financial Officer. Joining the Executive Board in January 2025, Knopp brings extensive expertise in finance and IT. His previous roles include CFO positions at SUSS MicroTec SE and Materna Information & Communications SE. The Board is confident in Knopp’s ability to lead the Finance division amid adesso SE's rapid growth.
adesso Group has over 10,200 employees with projected sales exceeding EUR 1.25 billion in 2024. It is recognized for its consulting and software development services across Europe and Asia.
