Acreage Holdings Begins Non-Medical Cannabis Sales in Ohio

Acreage Holdings, Inc. has launched non-medical cannabis sales across all five of its The Botanist locations in Ohio. This marks a significant shift in the state's cannabis market, which is projected to quadruple and reach $2.3 billion within a year.

CEO Dennis Curran emphasized the transformative potential of this move, highlighting Acreage's intent for sustained growth. The Botanist dispensaries will now offer products to consumers aged 21 and over. These include top-selling items such as gummies and vapes from key brands like Superflux and Wana.

Kate Ols, Executive VP for Ohio Operations, reiterated the company's commitment to providing safe and high-quality cannabis products, aiming to reduce the impact of the illicit market.

As Acreage aims to double its Ohio-based revenue by 2025, this new venture is expected to drive significant improvements in Adjusted EBITDA.
