Accor Completes EUR400m Share Buyback Programme

Accor has officially completed its EUR400m share buyback programme, initially announced on February 22, 2024. A significant portion of this programme was executed through a share purchase agreement with Jinjiang International, which was signed on March 11, 2024, and resulted in the acquisition of 7 million Accor shares for EUR275m, at a set price of EUR39.22 per share.

The programme continued with the remaining EUR125m dedicated to the buyback, commencing on March 20, 2024, and culminating on April 4, 2024. This phase saw Accor securing an additional 2,923,228 shares at an average price of EUR42.93. In total, Accor acquired 9,923,228 shares at an average price of EUR40.31 throughout the duration of the programme. The company plans to cancel these shares in the forthcoming weeks.
