ABO Energy's Green Bond Raised by €15 Million
ABO Energy KGaA has increased its 2024/2029 bond by €15 million through a private placement. The original issue of €65 million was released four months ago. The proceeds will fund the development of wind and solar parks and battery storage facilities.
Dr. Karsten Schlageter, Managing Director of ABO Energy KGaA, noted that the bond increase would support the company's growth and project development. The additional bonds, priced at 101%, were placed with institutional investors. The demand exceeded supply, with B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. AG as Sole Global Coordinator and M.M. Warburg as Joint Bookrunner.
The bond is traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
